Dr. Anna Roby, PhD, RDN
Dr. A’nna Roby, PhD, RDN is a physiologist and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist specializing in Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (REDs) and low energy availability. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University before completing a combined PhD/RD position at Cornell, where her research focused on human physiology, nutrition, and behavior change. She later conducted clinical research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a Translational Metabolic Clinical Research Investigator.
Today, Dr. Roby is the founder of Salt & Pearl, a private practice dedicated to helping active women recover from underfueling and REDs through evidence-based nutrition and behavior change. She is passionate about translating complex physiology into practical strategies that help patients and healthcare professionals recognize REDs early and improve patient outcomes through interdisciplinary care.
